CHILD abuse has become a horrifying evil in our society. The children at the age of 7 to 9 are being abducted and abused sexually in broad day lights. The recent survey estimated that 8 children are victimized brutally on regular basis in different parts of the country. It is very pathetic anti- social crime, has engulfed the entire Pakistani society. Unfortunately, there is no legal protection for child to be protected from this heinous crime. On the other hand, police is making excuses for not ascertaining sufficient evidences. Therefore, media along with civil society must come up with a joint efforts to highlight the issue. Similarly, the higher authorities must take strong steps to punish the culprits and to formulate legal protections for the children coming outside.
