CHILD abuse is a global problem which is rising in Pakistan day by day. Child abuse is not just a physical violence directed at a child but also it is any form of maltreatment by an adult which is violent or threatening for the child.
Undoubtedly, this includes such as kidnapping, sexual assaults, forced marriages and missing children. Multiple factors contribute to the increase in the number of such cases, on the other way, also can be eradicated by taking effective measures. Means, it is crucial to educate children about the ‘good’ touch and the ‘bad’ touch. Besides this, they should be trained and taught to speak up and seek help when harassed by the perpetrators. Because, this can help them to have a friendly relationship with the parents.
Finally, if the government sincerely wants to eradicate child abuse from the country, it must remove the obstacles which prevent implementation of laws and punishments.
