Women rights mean privilege and freedom equal to those of men. Women rights refer to the fundamental rights in the political, economic, social and cultural spheres.
According to a researcher, during the 19th and early 20th centuries people began to agitate for the rights of women to vote. In 1893, New Zealand became the first country to give women the rights to vote on a national level. This movement grew to spread all around the world, and thanks to the efforts of everyone involved in this struggle, today women’s suffrage is a right under the convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women.
But in Pakistan, nothing is being given to women. Even though education is one of the basic rights for every one but in some areas women have been effectively prohibited to get education just due to powerful figures in their communities.
In other words, the principle of policy underlines the principal of equal rights and equal treatment to all citizens without any distinction including on the basis of sex. The following articles of constitutional of Islamic republic of Pakistan broadly covered the women rights, like the article 3 calls upon the state to eliminate all forms of explosion, article 4 provides for the rights of law etc.
Women must get their rights equally because they are the main parts of this world .
