Letter: Cleaning Turbat

Turbat is the second largest city in Balochistan, but a large quantity of garbages are thrown across the city. Because people, who are to pick up the dusts, claim that they are not getting their salaries. Even the money which government gives them, they say, cannot be enough for them to run their families. They merely get six thousands per month which is very low considering the given inflation in the country.

On the other hand, we cannot see dustbins in the whole city so that people may throw the garbages out there. It automatically results in throwing the garbages on the roads.

According to my civic sense, the sweepers of the city should get more salaries so that they may work properly and also be able to run their families. Because they come early in the mornings – whether in winters or in summers – to clean the city for us.

Therefore, it is my request to the government of Balochistan and the new Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddos Bizenjo to take a strong actions as soon as possible.
