EDUCATION is the best source to improve a nation. Unfortunately, in our country no one is willing to provide it to the women to be literate. Undoubtedly, it is the fundamental rights of every human but we have created a gender difference in our society. The United Nation Department Programme estimated that the percent of male to female with secondary education is 0.502 and public expense on education make only 2.7 percent of the GDP of Pakistan.
However men have rights to read and proudly dominating the societies but where are our females? Do they have rights to read? They are just supposed to play her role, as a housewife, mother, wife or daughter. Men and women are not being seen equality into this education world. Lack of emphasis of the significance of women’s education is one of the basis features of gender inequality in Pakistan.
No doubt, women education plays a vital role for the development of any nation. It is very necessary for creating awareness and achieving a great respect in the society. It will allow the women to participate in politics, legal systems, human resources development and other important areas then can ensure their concern are heard. Moreover, they can play an important role in the economy of the country.
Empowering women through education can serve the most powerful toll and can help Pakistan to get its national goals, just only utilizing women’s power, skill, knowledge and competencies. Besides this, women education play an vitamins role in other major factors in their lives including health, early childhood, child labor, nutrition and more things which can improve many things which they need.
Apart from this, women can bring several positive results in human development areas such as child survival, health and schooling. As an education mother can make educated son and improve her own society by using the power of education which is the most valuable thing in this entire world. But the lower rate of women literacy rate can only create negativity on the economic growth while decreasing the regular level of human capital.
It is well-known that education is the only thing which can create perfect personalities and can enable the women to develop their mind and other required things, organizational, managerial and administrative skills. Only realizing the importance of women’s education, Pakistan can get its major goals, achieve success and bring positive changes in the economic growth. As well the other countries, literary girls can play an important role for the development of Pakistan as well.
The current situation of women’s education is in peril. Mostly the people believe that women are just there to take care of their families and only men should get education. It is totally a wrong concept which people are thinking, an educated woman as mother, wife, or daughter can manage the families in a better way. So concern authorities should full address to resolve this issue to improve the current situation of Pakistan and ensure that every women in Pakistan has rights of education.
