It was evening time when Zaid’s mother received a phone call from the principal saying, “Hello, this is principal Kamal speaking and one of the family members of Zaid should visit me tomorrow.”
During that time Zaid was outside the home because he was a roamer boy, he used to wander here and there and backed home late night. But still he was not asked by neither his parents nor anyone else.
Next day, Zaid’s parents approached to principal’s office during the time of the classes and Zaid was called by the peon.
After few seconds principal broke the silence and started complaining about Zaid, “He is a mischievous boy who makes the fellows discomfort, distracted entire class and all teachers do say bad comments about him.”
Suddenly, his father stood and slapped him by not saying a single word. “Sorry but I didn’t call you here to beat him, my purpose was only to give his certificate and take him with you.” Uttered by principal angrily.
Father and the boy were quiet but on the other side a drop of tear rolled on his mother’s cheek and she folded her hands and pleaded, “One more chance, please?”
When Zaid saw his mom crying with teary eyes and requesting principal, this hard situation and the drop of tear brought a huge change in Zaid’s thoughts. Zaid instantly went and stood in front of principal’s table and downed his head with weeping sound said that, “Accept my mom’s teary statement, please? After today you won’t listen any kind of complain about me.”
Seeing the situation, the principal felt weird and said, “Fine, you can leave now.” He left for his class and his parents thanked sir for his cooperation.
That day Zaid came home, denied to visit his friends and left wandering with his friends and ignored them.
He was just in his study room hectic with the course tools. His teachers and mates were amazed to see an immense vary in him. The days were going and due to his efforts, he passed his exam with top marks. The sudden turn of his life twitched everyone.
With the passage of time, a speech competition was announced involving all schools of the city. In this confrontation Zaid also took part with two or three more students from his school. Among all Zaid achieved 1st position award.
For this achievement his parents and principal with two senior teachers were invited in city hall program. They got this high honor or fame just from that naughty boy who bothered everyone also principal was about to drop him out. Fortunately, now they were feeling proud of him.
The ones who denied to consider themselves his schoolmates this time they all were trying to be closer with him.
Lastly, Principal with his all staff members and fellows arranged a program on his name and the other junior and senior students were inspired from him.
