ONCE upon a time, there lived a son of a rich businessman named Azam, he was not hardworking and his father provided him everything and he was enjoying his life very much. However, one of his bad qualities was that he never cared about his words and misbehaved with his friends.
A friend of him, Junaid noticed his rude behavior and proceeded to advise him not to be rude with others and said, “Dear friend, I really do not want to disappoint you by saying this. You have lost control of yourself and words and you need to control your mouth and the words you throw out of your mouth to others.”
On hearing these words, Azam blushed and replied angrily, “Who are you to advise me? My parents had not yet said anything about my behavior. Who are you? Get out of my sight.”
Junaid passed a smile and left quietly. The next day, Junaid again came to Azam for help as his brother was hospitalized and the doctors asked for Rs 4 lakh and Junaid could not afford it. He said to Azam, “I need your help. My elder brother has been admitted to the hospital due to kidney failure and the amount demanded by the doctors is unaffordable for me. Please help me and I will give your money soon. “
Junaid pleaded impatiently but Azam did not show any sympathy and said, “Do you remember the day when you said me I do not care about myself , go I will not help you.”
Junaid bowed his head and replied, “I beg your pardon, please forgive me and help me by giving me some money. I am your friend not enemy and I promise to repay my loan soon.”
“Well, I forgave you but I cannot help you because I do not have that much money since I spent all my money on building.” Azam said.
“If you do not want to help me, just say I do not want to assist, but refrain from lying.” Junaid said.
On hearing these words, Azam became angry again and said, “Yes, I do not want to waste my money on your brother, it is your responsibility to take care of your brother, not mine, so you go somewhere else and beg.”
Azam took him out of the house and pushed him near the gate.
A few years later, Azam’s father got big lose in his business and became very poor. After a big lose, he was superstitious and kept wandering from office to office to get a job since his family came to the street due to poverty. One day Azam’s father was crossing the road, he met with an accident and was rushed to hospital. When Azam got the news of his father’s accident, he rushed to the hospital and asked the doctors about his father’s health. The doctors demanded Rs 4 lakh to start the treatment and it was very important to start the treatment soon or else his father would lose his life. He called all his friends for help but no one picked up his phone because of his rude behavior.
He called Junaid. Luckily he picked up his phone but Azam was not sure to gossip with him because once Azam refused to help him, Azam hung up his call and sat at the corner
A few hours later, the doctor came to him and said, “We managed to save your father’s life. Congratulations.”
On hearing these words, Azam was shocked and went in deep thinking that who had helped his father. And then the nurse brought a letter and gave it to him. When he opened the letter and read it, tears flowed from his cheeks and he felt guilty and promised himself that he would not speak harshly and treat everyone well.
The letter states, “I am angry with you, not with your father, so I am helping him. This is my hospital and your father’s treatment was freely done.” Sent by Junaid to his friend Azam.
