Letter: Governmental buses for business

By: ABDUL RAHMAN SHAHBEER (TURBAT)

OVER a few days before, a girl shared something in social media ( Facebook ) with adding that the students of far area who come by bus in college are being asked to pay money for the buses. It is quite shocking that the government had accommodated these buses for the means of free transportation to the far students who do not have accesses to transportation ; isn’t it an illegal and extreme work for the students ?

Indeed! Those students who travel through the governmental buses are poor and underprivileged students who do not afford for rents to cars and buses. Similarly, the drivers of the buses are forcefully bothering particularly the female students if they do not pay the rent ( 1000 ) rupee per month, they will not pick them to college. After informing about the complain to the principal of the college, the principal also favoured the drivers that they must pay for the governmental buses.

The drivers including the faculty, principals and every member of the colleges is only thinking for making kind of businesses in one another way.

Thus, as being a student, I plea to the high ranking authorities that they must not ignore this problem rather they shall step forward and take strict actions against businesses.
