Letter: No electricity in Balnigwar

Author: Nawaz Nigwari

Bal Nigwar is a sub-tehsil of district Kech which is almost 100 kilometers far away from Turbat.

The area contains many villages as Hochath, Drachkoh, Machat, Sorik, Kapkapar, Dizdir, Kucha and other places. Besides this, Bal Nigwar is the headquarter of these towns in which the villagers rush there for any emergency situation as treatment, buying the food and many more.

However, the residents have been facing shortage of electricity since 2 years. Electricity plays a vital role for the modern era in which the people do their daily basis works as the farms run through electricity, wells are depended on it, and other necessary things which will be fulfilled through it.

On the other side, there are countless ” Kambah” around the areas but are unable to supply electricity and some of them have been broken and their wires are spread and creating disturbance.

According to the villagers, the electric department is still taking money from the people but electricity has been disappeared in the surrounding of village for a long period of time.

It is requested to the government of Balochistan to pay attention into this matter and provide electricity to the people of the town.
