Letter: Climate change

Pakistan’s serious and concerned issue is climate change. Pakistan is among the top 10 countries most vulnerable to climate change despite only being responsible for less than 1% of global carbon emissions.
Due to climate change, the weather patterns are terribly changing and it is bringing huge impacts on people’s health. However, according to the WHO, every year Pakistan counts multiple victimized people from various kind of diseases because of climate change.
Therein, Pakistan requires proactive steps to control this issue. In place of planting trees, people of Pakistan have terribly chopped down the forests every year. The government needs to ban cutting the forests and begin to plant more and more tress, and protect the environment from harmful harms which can bring impacts on climate.
