Letter: Ruding without helmet

By: Mehreen Munir Roshin (Turbat)

RIDING a motorcycle gives riders a sense of freedom on the open road. However, there are serious dangers involved in riding without a helmet. A motorcycle does not provide the structural protection that a car does to keep drivers safe in the event of an accident. Motorcyclists need to take extra precautions to protect their body. The most important place to start is by protecting the head. The head and brain is most vulnerable to injury in a motorcycle accident. Drivers and passengers wearing helmets increase their chance of survival significantly over non-helmet wearers.
It is important for motorcyclists to understand the risks of riding without a helmet. Riders who do not wear helmets are at risk of suffering a traumatic brain injury if they face an accident. Without protection, the head is vulnerable to a traumatic impact in an accident even when traveling at low speeds.

By: Erum Tamkeen (Turbat)

IT is well known fact that inflation waves are spreading all over Pakistan. Majority of the people struggle to survive under the poverty line. They can’t afford to buy goods for their families and they work in small places, sell things on footpaths to complete the needs of their families. Unfortunately, some of them are getting 5 or 10 thousands a month which create confusion among them rather to buy goods or to pay the electricity’s bill or much more. On the other side, due to inflation waves, the unemployed are being depressed. It is my humble request to the government to be serious and work to control the inflation otherwise people will die due to hunger.

Article: Let’s educate our females

By: Sana Samad

EDUCATION is the best source to improve a nation. Unfortunately, in our country no one is willing to provide it to the women to be literate. Undoubtedly, it is the fundamental rights of every human but we have created a gender difference in our society. The United Nation Department Programme estimated that the percent of male to female with secondary education is 0.502 and public expense on education make only 2.7 percent of the GDP of Pakistan.

However men have rights to read and proudly dominating the societies but where are our females? Do they have rights to read? They are just supposed to play her role, as a housewife, mother, wife or daughter. Men and women are not being seen equality into this education world. Lack of emphasis of the significance of women’s education is one of the basis features of gender inequality in Pakistan.
No doubt, women education plays a vital role for the development of any nation. It is very necessary for creating awareness and achieving a great respect in the society. It will allow the women to participate in politics, legal systems, human resources development and other important areas then can ensure their concern are heard. Moreover, they can play an important role in the economy of the country.

Empowering women through education can serve the most powerful toll and can help Pakistan to get its national goals, just only utilizing women’s power, skill, knowledge and competencies. Besides this, women education play an vitamins role in other major factors in their lives including health, early childhood, child labor, nutrition and more things which can improve many things which they need.
Apart from this, women can bring several positive results in human development areas such as child survival, health and schooling. As an education mother can make educated son and improve her own society by using the power of education which is the most valuable thing in this entire world. But the lower rate of women literacy rate can only create negativity on the economic growth while decreasing the regular level of human capital.

It is well-known that education is the only thing which can create perfect personalities and can enable the women to develop their mind and other required things, organizational, managerial and administrative skills. Only realizing the importance of women’s education, Pakistan can get its major goals, achieve success and bring positive changes in the economic growth. As well the other countries, literary girls can play an important role for the development of Pakistan as well.
The current situation of women’s education is in peril. Mostly the people believe that women are just there to take care of their families and only men should get education. It is totally a wrong concept which people are thinking, an educated woman as mother, wife, or daughter can manage the families in a better way. So concern authorities should full address to resolve this issue to improve the current situation of Pakistan and ensure that every women in Pakistan has rights of education.

Letter: Turbat needs internet

By: Sattar Samad (Baloor, Kolwah)

TURBAT, the headquarter of the Mekran division doesn’t have internet facility. It is one of the most important districts of Balochistan. There is neither 2G, 3G nor 4G in any part of it. The modern world is planning for 5G but we do not have internet itself. And none of the concerned authorities have never ever discussed this issue in any platform.
It is the fundamental rights of each citizen, the government of Balochistan should provide us internet. It is needed in each and every department and field. Mostly, it is necessary for the students who are in the process of learning. They need internet all the time, for their studies, for the online classes which have been a rule of the universities all over the world.
The students of Balochistan have been on hunger strike for the internet in the province but our government doesn’t seem to have attention on them and their voice. We are the part of this country so the government should provide us what is given to other people of the country.

Letter: Ignored Awaran

By: Kamran Badal (Awaran)

AWARAN is considered one of the backward districts of Balochistan by everything and the residents are facing umpteenth problems regarding everything.
Education is the most powerful weapon through which we can use to change the world. But unfortunately, in Awaran education system is completely destroyed and the students are working on fields and some are working on garages. Due to lack of good teachers and bad facilities of education in Awaran, students are abandoning their education career.
Electricity is the fundamental rights for the people in the district but unfortunately, in Awaran people lack it. It is one of the biggest issues in Awaran and people are using solar system to lights their homes. Many political leaders have promised to give electricity in Awaran but they have not given electricity yet. The people are facing many problems regarding electricity and they are still waiting for electricity where the leaders have taken oath.
Gas is also one of the biggest issues in the district where the people are using wood to make the food. People are compelled to chop down the trees for food and the deforestation is increasing day by day by cutting trees and the gas is the basic need of a district to have.
Awarani people lack good roads to travel one place to another. The broken roads are causing many accidents and people are losing their lives.
Due to this, people are afraid to travel other cities.
District Awaran is being neglected since beginning and there is no any good political leaders to solve these all problems and make the people satisfy about the circumstances of Awaran.
