Letter: Load shedding in Turbat

Turbat is the one of the most populated cities of Balochistan but it is deprived from electricity. Electricity is one of the most essential parts of life but unfortunately Turbat is devoid of this basic necessity of life. Similarly, there is great scarcity of electricity though it’s the season of winter due to which the public is suffering a lot. Approximately, there is scarcity of electricity in 9 hours per day.

It is my request to the concerned authorities and government to take solid actions to solve this issue and provide this basic necessity of life.

Letter: Growing inflation rate

Poverty has incredibly reached to its highest peak. Approximately half of the population in Pakistan live under poverty line. There is a record increase in inflation rate. Pakistan will become the worst country in the world if it fails to control the inflation rate. Inflation rate created many issues in Pakistan such as the rate of sugar, rice and other daily kitchen items has touched the sky. A poor earns less than one thousand in a day but he has to spend more than one thousand in a day. In such case, poor people will get compelled and commit suicide. Therefore, government must take action to control inflation and provide jobs to the public desperately.

Letter: The futile act of Quetta police

Women have extreme values, respect and they are adored in Islam. But it is heart wrenching that recently a video has been displayed in social media where Quetta’s policemen are constraining and pushing three females in the police mattress sternly. Some queries have been commented by the public whether in our society female’s consideration has become so awful that in the presence of policewomen, policemen are performing such disgusting reactions and acts. Whether we aren’t the acolyte of Islam where such immoralities are rigorously prohibited or whether our policemen have such substandard authorities to perform.
Thus, every department keeps females for sort outing the dilemmas of females and the Quetta police has to be cautious in such circumstances, because women are highly adored in every aspect of life and in Islam too.

Letter: Cleaning Turbat

Turbat is the second largest city in Balochistan, but a large quantity of garbages are thrown across the city. Because people, who are to pick up the dusts, claim that they are not getting their salaries. Even the money which government gives them, they say, cannot be enough for them to run their families. They merely get six thousands per month which is very low considering the given inflation in the country.

On the other hand, we cannot see dustbins in the whole city so that people may throw the garbages out there. It automatically results in throwing the garbages on the roads.

According to my civic sense, the sweepers of the city should get more salaries so that they may work properly and also be able to run their families. Because they come early in the mornings – whether in winters or in summers – to clean the city for us.

Therefore, it is my request to the government of Balochistan and the new Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Abdul Quddos Bizenjo to take a strong actions as soon as possible.

Blog: School of Nokjo deserves attention

By: Perviaz Elahi Baloch

Education, undoubtedly, plays an essential role for the development and prosperity of a society, nation and a country. But unfortunately, Nokjo, a small area of Mashkay tehsil of district Awaran, is currently facing the scarcity of education. Basically, the town has many problems such as a lack of health sectors, growing ratio of poverty, poor condition of roads and so forth, but the sorry state of education is the biggest issue of the region which is largely being faced by poor inhabitants.

One can find the pictures of Nokjo’s schools which are in deteriorating conditions. They lack infrastructures in particular due to which students are compelled to sit outside in the sun in the hot weather.

The pictures further portray that a school – that is a middle school of the town – has only two rooms which are also broken. In the school, around 190 students are studying and 7 teachers are to give their duty in the school. But sadly, only two teachers are performing their duty regularly and five teachers are ghosts. However, they take their salaries on a regular basis.

In addition, owing to the poor condition of premises of school and unavailability of teachers, students are not being trained well. Similarly, many children in the village are not acquiring education. We are always said that education is every citizen’s fundamental right, but our governments never pay heed to rendering education to the citizens of Balochistan. If education is our fundamental right, why are the people of tensil Mashkay are deprived of an education?

The new Chief Minister of Balochistan belongs to Awaran district. It is yet to see if he takes the concerns of education of the district seriously or not. The school deserves to be facilitated so that students may continue to get a proper education.

Letter: Unemployment

Unemployment is a very commonplace issue in Balochistan. The unemployment rate in the province is very high and the major reason is the wastage of resources on the large scale. According to an unofficial report, more than 25,000 graduate students pass out every year and hardly 20,000 secure the job. Due to unemployment, Balochs are working out of the country for their families. It is my request to the government to provide jobs to the citizens of Balochistan.

Letter: Electricity crisis

Electricity is the one of the central issues Balochistan is passing through. In Balochistan, the big cities such as Quetta, Turbat, Sibi and Gwadar often face the shortage of electricity. Meanwhile, there are some villages and towns, there is completely nonavailability of electricity which is one of the most eminent needs of every individual in this modern world. Due to lack of electricity, the students of the entire province face plentiful problems. No one can think about a life without having electricity because most of the important things are depended on electricity. I request to the government to provide electricity to each city and solve their problems.

Letter: Buleda needs a library

Being the residence of Buleda, it is my foremost responsibility to draw the attention of authorities toward the library problem of Buleda. Library was constructed in 2020 under the authority of the Minister Zahoor Ahmed Buledai but since that it is closed. A great number of students are studying in Buleda but there is not a single library for them. Public library is the first library but it is also off. Library is one of the main sources to prevent the students from weird activities. I request the government to establish a library in Buleda to enroll the students and restrain them from doing wrong tasks.

Letter: Deprived Balgathar

Balgathar is a village located in Makran division of Balochistan which lacks electricity in the 21th century. Unavailability of electricity is causing hurdles for the residents of unfortunate village. It is heart wrenching to say that in this modern era, everything runs via electricity but the people of Balgathar are still compelled to light up candles and take-out water from wells by hand. It is the basic rights of every human being to get the basic needs and facilities but the locals of many villages of Balochistan are deprived from very fundamental needs of life.

It is my request to the authorities to take serious notice of this issue and facilitate Balgathar with electricity as soon as possible.
