Letter: Ban on tobacco

Author: Qamber M-B (Kech)

Turbat is the second largest city in province of Balochistan but unfortunately tobacco smoking is legal, only after the age of 18. There are no proper rules and regulations implemented by the government to cut down the use of tobacco. The government should restrict shopkeepers from selling cigarettes to children below the age of 18 and if they continue to do, strict actions should be taken against them and they should be charged with a fine. In Balochistan, around 2350 people die to disease caused by smoking every year. The government should impose strict laws for the citizens and should look into this matter seriously.

Letter: Koshkalat needs an exam hall

Author: Shehzad Sabzal (Koshkalat)

Koshkalat is one of the biggest towns of Kech and it is located in Turbat city. Unfortunately, Government Girls High school Koshkalat lacks examination hall owing to which students face multifarious problems such as,l annual programs, examination of board exams and many more.

Moreover, when 9th and 10th exams begin, the complete school gets distracted because exams will be conducted in the class rooms.

Additionally, the Balochistan Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education (BBISE) does not enlist it as examination center and students get compelled to go to other far flung school for taking exams even manifold students are destitute and they cannot afford to give money to the cars for going to other areas schools for taking exam such as Chahsar, Absor and Government Girls Model School Turbat.

I request to the government of Balochistan and concerned authorities to build an examination hall for the girls student of Koshkalat.

The writer is student of Baloch English Language center Turbat.

Opinion: Endless love of a mother

By: Mehrullah

A mother is the one who has pure love for her children and she is an angel for her children with kind and pure love ..The most important and kind-hearted individuals of the mortal world are the mothers who we some most luckiest people still have with us. In fact, they are the names of tolerance of our each useless act, they bear and they are the names of our real teachers. We are taught the most important things of life. They sacrifice their all wishes for the sake of giving a comfortable and prosperous life to their beloved children.

In fact, mothers are known as the kind and soft-hearted individuals of the world. They always pray for the better and successful future of her children. And the power of a mother’s pray always protects her children from any kind of terrible troubles. This is a mother who bears each and every thing to make her children delightful. A mother is she whose love for her children is unconditional until her last breathe. This is why, we can say a mother’s love is endless and limitless for her children.

In addition, a mother is the only one who shows the right path of the life to her children. A mother is always with her children whether in happiness or sadness. Even mothers make their best to feel their children comfortable in their commendable life. When she gives birth a child, she only thinks how to make her child happy and what to do for making her child the happiest of the world. In simple wordings, we can say that her love is incredible for her children.

Nonetheless, she doesn’t sleep in dark and big nights for her child but to make her child asleep. They can sleep hungrily but they never let their children to sleep without taking any morsels of naan or something else. Though they cannot afford to feed them but they do their best to feed them. She is the mother whose sacrifices are uncountable and unlimited.

However, a mother can understand what her child does, not say to her because she has the abilities to know before her child says to her. Mothers support, encourage, guide, and teach their children and they are the greatest personalities of the world because they have true love for their children. It is well quoted by someone “A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.”

To sum up, we all need to take care of our beloved and meritorious mothers when they are around us. We need to make them happy as they do a lot for us in their entire life. We need to ask those who don’t have mothers and don’t know about a mother’s love. Children who have mothers can be considered as the luckiest people of the world. One can say that they will be in heaven.

Letter: Nasirabad suffers

Author: Bilal Bewas Nasirabadi

Nasirabad is one of the largest villages in District Kech. The population of Nasirabad is getting high and it has also been mentioned in the Turbat map due to its population.

But in Nasirabad, several issues are going on which are not yet finished. There are no facilities regarding the hospitals, colleges and libraries. In Nasirabad, there is just one hospital and one doctor to treat the patients. Due to this, mostly patients go to Turbat and Karachi for their treatment. Moreover, there is no quality education system. I want to request the CM of Balochistan to solve the problem of Nasirabad soon.

Letter: Gwadar, Haq Dou Tehreek

Author: Mehran Nasir (Turbat)

Gwadar is considered the base and foundation of CPEC which was signed by ex-prime minister Mr Nawaz Sharif to bring job opportunities, basic facilities like food, clothes, shelter, good health care, better education system and availability of everything.

But it is all a dream for Baloch nation, instead of providing these all facilities government is snatching and grabbing the rights of those poor people who are working and feeding their children’s lives by fishing in Gwadar sea.

In addition, the Haq Dou Tehreek is led by Mulana Hidayat ur Rehman, has completed more than three weeks. It has brought a huge wisdom in Balochs, more than 20 thousand females joined the rally and all the Gwadar is out demanding for their basic rights.

Nonetheless, it is that Gwadar whose developing projects are established all over in pakistan in the name of CPEC cities including CPEC developing authorities, CPEC markets, roads and colonies are being built, but unfortunately Gwadar the start up point of CPEC where it has commenced, deprived its fundamental amenities.

Finally, it is a humble request to the government to fulfill the demands of Mulana Hidayat ur Rehman and pay a deep attention on Gwadar .

Poetry: The struggle

Poet: Adnan Maqsood

The struggle,

Fighting and dancing flowers,

Beautiful faces of dead souls,

Just remind the stone of hearts,

There speaks the act of struggles,

It appeals louder for everyone,

To every non-living ear or dumb,

Listen what it pleas to benefit,

It always asks for unity,

For the purpose to let clouds not,

Cry anymore for without a reason,

The reflection diverts and screams,

‘Tis the beauty of freeness,

You might not understand its pleasure,

Go and ask a caged bird,

How does it make it feel?

The answer would be shocking,

It is like the struggle, that speaks not,

But thunders as none can bear,

The roars of that non-living lions,

Still feared the hearts of evils,

That reasons the losing of beloveds,

And then the fear of losing themselves,

The mistakes now apologize,

But without permission of it itself,

That is all the nervousness of devils,

From the little souls of happiness,

That lived not like raining,

But lightened the heart of slaves,

And give birth a hope of getting,

What they actually desired for……!

Poetry: To the lover….!

Poet: Adnan Maqsood

To the lovers,

Lovers of the land,

Land where birds,

Birds that chirp,

Chirp to spread happiness,

Happiness to sad hearts,

Hearts that sleep not,

Not a while without,

Without seeing their loves,

Loves whose care,

Care matters to most,

Most that live in trouble,

Trouble which is unwished,

Unwished to happen,

Happen to humanity,

Humanity that vanish,

Vanish the unity,

Unity among nation,

Nation which later,

Later breaks to individualism,

Individualism of selfness,

Selfness that breaks,

Breaks the lovers,

Lovers of land,

Land where birds,

Birds that want freeness,

Freeness to fly,

Fly with no restriction……!

Poem: Thou left me!!

Poet: Muneeb Maqsood

I still remember thee,

For thou is unforgettable,

I see thee in my dreams,

When we played together,

And people saw us playing together,

Jealousness got birth,

People tried to separate us,

And suddenly,

Thou left me,

For finding thee I meandered in the mountains,

Street to street,

Society to society,

But,

I could not find thou,

I still remember those moments,

Which we spent with each other,

I miss thou a lot my lovely dog,

Thy last day was the worst day of my life ever,

Thy absence made me wander everywhere,

And I found you,

But with stop breathing,

Thou was killed in the name of stray dogs.

It is requested to the government of Balochistan to pay attention into this matter and provide electricity to the people of the town.
